Order Parts from Mouser and/or Digi-Key

Use this tool to order all the parts needed for the DRO-350 from Mouser and Digi-Key. You will still need to order the Overlay (Lathe or Mill) and the DRO-350 PCB.

Purpose of this Tool

Some have different expectations from this tool, so let me explain.  If you needed to order all the parts to build the DRO-350 then you would spend hours at the keyboard keying in part numbers and quantities.  This tool is to cut trough all of that.  It connects to Mouser and prepares an order on Mouser for (nearly) all the parts. 

Only one part is not available from Mouser - but it is available from Digi-Key, so when you place an order using the above Digi-Key button, it will only order 1 part.  Yes, you are going to incur 2 lots of freight - one from Mouser and one from Digi-Key. To overcome this issue (and save yourself a few dollars) you can order that part from me when you order the PCB and Overlay. The part is UDN2983A.

Some notes about using this tool:

When you submit an order to Mouser (or Digi-Key) Mouser creates a persistent cookie on your PC.  The cookie contains a copy of the complete order.  If you do not complete the order, the cookie remains on your PC.  The next time you want to place an order with Mouser (a few minutes later or even a few weeks later) the order you place will be ADDED to the order in the cookie - generally this is not what you want.

Solution:

If you see some strange quantities, or if some of the old discontinued part numbers are included in your order, press the 'Clear Order' button when you get to the Mouser site.  This will clear the cookie.  Now you can start again and you should get a nice clear order without all the obsolete part numbers and with the correct quantities.
